Delta Force Auto Clip: Kill Detection That Works

You checked Outplayed's supported games list, and Delta Force isn't on it. You're not the first: the request on the Outplayed Ideas portal — "Kills on Delta Force" — has 155 votes and has sat without a status since December 2024. Search for a Delta Force auto clip alternative and nearly every result is an "AI clip maker" that wants you to upload your whole VOD to someone else's servers, sit in a processing queue, and take your clips back watermarked — at 720p if you didn't pay.

There's a third route none of those pages mention: detection that reads Delta Force's on-screen kill feed directly from your recording, on your own PC. No Overwolf integration to wait for, no upload queue, no per-game support list your game has to make it onto. If a kill line renders in the feed, it can be detected — in Warfare, Operations, and Black Hawk Down alike.

Transparency up front: we build GameClipper Advanced, a Windows 10/11 app that does exactly this, and the walkthrough below uses it. The free version runs the full pipeline — scan, edit, export — forever with a small watermark, so you can test everything on tonight's VOD without paying anything.

Why Outplayed Doesn't Auto-Clip Delta Force

Outplayed auto-clips by hooking game events through Overwolf's per-title integrations. That works well for games on the list and not at all for games off it — and Delta Force has been off it since launch. Players have asked, loudly. "Kills on Delta Force" (OP-I-11403) was opened on the Outplayed Ideas portal in December 2024, has climbed to 155 votes, and still shows no status. A second request, "Kill, Death, and High Level Loot" (OP-I-11623), added 28 more votes in March 2025. The comments read exactly like you'd expect:

"we need kills on Delta Force!"

"will they every add it how many votes do we need" (spelling theirs)

"Up for this, quite hard to find the clips you wanted and it's quite a hassle."

This isn't Outplayed being lazy. Their own FAQ explains that per-game event support requires "constant maintenance in addition to permissions from the game developers." That's two dependencies, both outside your control: the vendor has to prioritize your game, and the game's developer has to permit the hooks. When either one stalls, so does your auto-clipping — 19 months and counting, in Delta Force's case.

Every Delta Force Auto Clip Option, Compared

Here's the honest field as of mid-2026. One official integration does exist — SteelSeries Moments will auto-clip Delta Force — so the real comparison is one constrained integration, two cloud uploaders, one hotkey recorder, and local kill-feed detection.

ToolDelta Force auto-clip?Where it runsThe catch
OutplayedNo — open request since Dec 2024Local recorderRecords the game; cannot auto-clip kills
Medal.tvHotkey clipping; not on its auto-clip listLocal capture, cloud sharingDelta Force is absent from Medal's automatic event detection game list
EklipseYes, via cloud AICloud — upload VOD or link streamFree tier: 15 clips per 3-hour stream, 720p, watermarked, standard-speed queue
FragCutYes, via cloud AICloud — upload file or Twitch URL15–30 min processing, 4-hour file cap, watermark-free only on paid plans, pricing not shown
SteelSeries MomentsYes — official integrationLocalEarly Access; English/French game language only, no Windows 11 HDR
GameClipper AdvancedYes — kill-feed scan of any VODLocal, fully offlineFree exports carry a small watermark; $19 one-time removes it

Two hedges worth making explicit. Medal is a capable recorder with hotkey clipping, but Delta Force is not among the games Medal lists for automatic event detection — Medal directs new-game requests to its feedback forum — so treat it as manual clipping until that changes. And SteelSeries Moments genuinely works inside its box: the official support article labels Delta Force support Early Access and requires the game language to be English or French (more languages promised) and Windows 11 HDR to be turned off. Those requirements are a clue about how it detects — more on that next. If you're still weighing the cloud route, we broke down the queue-and-watermark math in our Eklipse alternatives comparison.

How Kill-Feed Detection Works Without an Integration

Every kill in Delta Force prints a line in the on-screen kill feed: killer, weapon icon, victim. That line is a visual event with a consistent position and a predictable text pattern — which means computer vision can find it in recorded footage the same way you do when you scrub a VOD, except across every frame and without getting bored.

GameClipper Advanced scans a video file you already recorded — NVIDIA App/ShadowPlay, OBS, Xbox Game Bar, a capture card, anything that outputs video. It isn't a recorder and it touches nothing in the game's process: no hooks, no overlay, no developer permission needed. That's the structural difference from Outplayed — there is no per-game support list, because reading pixels doesn't need one. Delta Force is just one more feed layout; the same approach covers any game with a feed, and our kill feed detection guide covers the method in full.

Calibrating a Profile on Delta Force's Kill Feed

Calibration happens once per game and takes about two minutes:

  1. Record a Delta Force session that has kills in it and open the VOD in GameClipper Advanced.
  2. Scrub to a frame where a kill line is visible and draw a box around the kill feed region. Keep it tight to the feed — a tight box scans faster and ignores unrelated HUD movement.
  3. Capture your in-game name so the scanner knows which kill lines are yours. Enter it exactly as the feed renders it, clan tag included.
  4. Save it as your Delta Force profile. Every future VOD reuses it: load the profile, hit scan.

One-time calibration: box the kill feed, capture your operator name, save the profile.

Then set the scan parameters. Start with default match sensitivity and scan rate for a first pass; raise sensitivity if kills are missed, lower it if you see false hits. For clip windows, Delta Force rewards different values by mode: Warfare gunfights read well with 4–6 seconds of lead-in and 2–3 seconds of lead-out, while Operations extraction fights deserve 8–10 seconds of lead-in so the push and rotation make the clip, not just the final shot. Set minimum clip length around 6 seconds to cull fragments. Every one of these is a slider, and adjusting them recomputes all detected clips live — change lead-in from 5 to 10 seconds and the whole list updates instantly, with no re-scan.

Tip: Record at your monitor's native resolution and don't downscale. Shrinking the frame shrinks the kill-feed text, which makes OCR work harder than it needs to. 1080p at 60 fps is plenty.

Filtering Squad-Mate Kills With OCR Name Confirmation

Delta Force's team modes create a failure mode that no competing tool even acknowledges: the kill feed shows your whole squad's kills, not just yours. In a large Warfare match the feed scrolls constantly — assaults, revenges, vehicle kills, your medic's lucky headshot. A detector that only watches for feed activity would clip your teammates' frags all match long, and you'd spend the review pass deleting other people's highlights.

This is what OCR name confirmation is for. GameClipper Advanced offers multiple matching modes, and the strictest reads the killer name in each detected line and accepts the detection only when it matches the name you captured during calibration. Your squad-mate's triple kill lights up the feed, but their name isn't your name, so it never becomes a clip. In practice this pushes false positives to near zero in exactly the modes where naive feed-watching drowns. We wrote up the general version of this problem in clip only your kills, not your teammates'.

Reviewing detected Delta Force kills with previews in GameClipper Advanced
After the scan: every detection is a previewable clip candidate, so you can see exactly why it triggered.

You still get a review pass, and it's fast: the scan outputs a timestamped list of detections, each one previewable before export. If a detection ever looks doubtful, play it — you're checking a 10-second clip, not scrubbing a 3-hour VOD.

Tip: If your operator name renders with a clan tag in the feed, capture the name exactly as the feed displays it. The OCR match compares against what's actually on screen, not what's on your account page.

Warfare, Operations, and Black Hawk Down Coverage

Delta Force has already been through one renaming cycle: it was announced as "Delta Force: Hawk Ops" and dropped the subtitle before launch — yet Eklipse's Delta Force page still lives at a "hawk-ops" URL today, which tells you how often integration and marketing pages get revisited after a game changes. Screen-reading detection doesn't care what a mode is called this season — Warfare's large-team fights, Operations extractions, or the Black Hawk Down campaign — it only cares whether kill lines render in the feed. If they do, the profile scans them.

The one practical caveat: if a mode or a custom HUD preset draws the feed in a different position or size, save a second profile for that layout. Saving one takes a minute, and switching between saved profiles takes seconds — not a recalibration. The same applies if you change HUD scale in settings mid-season — redraw the box once and carry on.

Why It Keeps Working Through Every Season Patch

Season patches are where integration tools go to die. The 155-vote Outplayed request has waited 19+ months just for initial support; expecting same-week fixes after every season update is optimistic. Even the working integration is fragile in a revealing way: Moments detects on-screen, but its calibration belongs to SteelSeries — drift outside the supported box (a game language other than English or French, Windows 11 HDR on) and it stops, and you can't fix it. Our calibration belongs to you. If a season redesign restyles or moves the kill feed, you redraw one box in about a minute and the profile works again. Nothing to vote for, nobody to wait on.

The offline half matters just as much. Cloud pipelines ingest full VODs of your gameplay onto third-party servers, with retention on their terms and a queue between you and your own footage. A local scan runs on your machine, your footage never leaves it, and there's no uploading 20 GB to get back 720p clips. This structural argument isn't Delta Force-specific — it's the same case we make for Battlefield 6 auto clipping from day one and for Tarkov auto clip: games that integration vendors skip, patched constantly, where a screen-reading profile just keeps working.

Run Tonight's VOD Through It

The whole pipeline, compressed:

  1. Record a full session with whatever you already use — NVIDIA App, OBS, or Game Bar at 1080p60.
  2. Calibrate once: box the kill feed, capture your operator name, save the Delta Force profile. Two minutes.
  3. Scan the whole VOD. Every kill becomes a previewable, timestamped clip candidate.
  4. Tune lead-in (4–6 s Warfare, 8–10 s Operations), lead-out, and minimum length — clips recompute live.
  5. Trim, drop, and nudge start and end points on the timeline, then assemble with hard cuts, fades, or crossfades.
  6. Export 1080p 16:9 with GPU NVENC, plus a vertical 9:16 cut for Shorts and TikTok that uses a blurred pillarbox — the kill feed and HUD are never cropped out.

And because no competing page will tell you what anything costs: the free version of GameClipper Advanced does all of the above forever, with a small watermark on exports. A one-time $19 purchase removes the watermark (sign in with Google to activate). No subscription, no clip caps, no resolution downgrade. Download it free, load last night's Warfare VOD, and see your kill list with nobody's upload queue in the way.

Frequently asked questions

Does Outplayed support Delta Force?

No. Delta Force is not on Outplayed's event-supported games list. The request "Kills on Delta Force" (OP-I-11403) has been open on the Outplayed Ideas portal since December 2024 with 155 votes and no status. You can record Delta Force with Outplayed, but it will not auto-clip your kills.

How do I automatically clip Delta Force kills?

Record your session with any recorder — NVIDIA App, OBS, or Xbox Game Bar — then scan the VOD with kill-feed detection software like GameClipper Advanced. Draw a box around the kill feed once, capture your in-game name, and the scan finds every kill locally, with no upload and no game integration required.

What is the best auto clip software for Delta Force?

It depends on your constraints. SteelSeries Moments is the one official integration, but it is Early Access and requires English or French game language and no Windows 11 HDR. Eklipse and FragCut work via cloud upload and a processing queue. GameClipper Advanced scans any VOD locally and filters teammate kills by OCR name match.

Does Medal auto-clip Delta Force kills?

Not as a listed feature. Medal records Delta Force and clips with a hotkey, but Delta Force does not appear on Medal's list of games with automatic event detection; Medal directs new-game requests to its feedback forum. Treat Medal as manual clipping for this game and verify current support before relying on it.

Does SteelSeries Moments work with Delta Force?

Yes, within limits. Moments auto-clips Delta Force, but SteelSeries labels the support Early Access, requires the game language to be English or French, and does not support Windows 11 HDR. Outside those constraints, detection stops working.

Does it work with both Operations and Black Hawk Down modes?

Kill-feed detection is mode-agnostic: if the mode renders kill lines in the on-screen feed, the scan detects them — Warfare, Operations, or Black Hawk Down. If a mode or HUD preset draws the feed in a different position or size, save a second calibration profile; switching profiles takes seconds.

Does auto clipping work offline without uploading my gameplay?

With local detection, yes. GameClipper Advanced scans the video file entirely on your PC — footage never leaves the machine and there is no upload queue. Cloud clip makers like Eklipse and FragCut require uploading your VOD or linking a stream account, then waiting in a processing queue before you get anything back.

Will kill detection break when Delta Force gets a season update?

Integration-based tools can break or lag behind patches because they depend on vendor updates. Screen-reading detection only needs the kill feed to exist: if a season update restyles or moves the feed, you redraw the calibration box in about a minute and the profile works again — no waiting on anyone.
